Good uses for this D/Mo?
Draken Burst
This is my Level 20 D/Mo, and it's two main builds. I was just looking for some suggestions on how to make money with it, or what things it would be best at.
Sethellington
it's very smite heavy, and therefore good at pwning undead, however - the builds seems to be a mashup of random skills that have no synergy within each other. If you want good general purpose PvE builds, read around Guru threads and check out PvX wiki, you'll get a farming build there too should you need money.
Bowstring Badass
Multiples of the same rune (minors and superiors) DONT stack together for the same attribute unless it is for the -75 health. You only need 1 minor scythe. So salvage off the other scythe runes with a perf salvage kit.
Ferret Deathsquad
I'm going to dust off my dervish and try this.
Crom The Pale
I would suggest changing your builds drastically...
For a Der/mo you might concider creating a build around [Avatar of Dwayna] + [Reversal of Fortune] or [Reversal of Damage]
You really need to fix your runes....only 1 scythe mastery rune should be used and the minor is best for most builds. You might wish to change your helm for a +1 scythe and purchase a minor Mystism rune.

farmerfez
That's a lot of scythe mastery....
Draken Burst
I mean it's worked good so far and it's efficient at killing things fast.

What are these things of which you speak? It might be decent for killing things around shing jea island, but not much else. i really hope this is a joke

I only have proph and nightfall. And no, I've beaten nightfall on these builds and it wasn't hard.

beating pve with a build does not mean that it is optimal, or even decent, as pve is quite easy. evidence of this statement can be found in the fact that you beat nf with these builds and it wasn't hard.
these are pretty much generic fail melee-class-with-either-smiting-or-healing-prayers-skills-in-some-random-ineffective-combination builds

these are bad. sorry. if your trying to be origional... dont bother. look around here for some ideas on builds, skills and tactics that actually work (ill give you a hind, running into a mob and using symbol of wrath isnt one of them). then create a build that fits your playstyle.
Ministry Of Peace
This is kind of a funny gimmick:
[build prof=Dervish/Monk][Extend Enchantments][Balthazar's Aura][Vow of Silence][Shield of Force][Zealous Renewal][Victorious Sweep][Twin Moon Sweep][Conviction][/build]
Throw in pve skills if you want.

Ok. First off, let's not be completely rude eh? The guy came to this forum and posted his build in good faith. At least give him the criticism and the help he wants rather than just posting "omg u fail nub!!! LOLOLOL". Those sort of posts are not welcome and do not contribute to the thread.

Draken Burst,
Let's see what can be improved upon.
I'll just take your first build as an example. [[Avatar of Balthazar] + [[Eternal Aura] is a pretty standard combination for most beginners. Most players new to Dervishes like to focus in on Balthazar because the extra armor does improve your survivability somewhat, but when you learn your way arounf the game a bit more, it's maybe time to drop Balthazar for other stuff. [[Avatar of Lyssa], [[Ebon Dust Aura] and [[Wounding Strike] come to mind. I would get rid of [[Heart of Holy Flame]. Avatar of Balthazar already changes your damage to Holy Damage so...HoHF seems a little pointless. I would recommend [[Aura of Holy Might (Luxon)] if you can get hold of it, or [[Heart of Fury]. Ok - Smiting Prayers....they've kinda gotta go. It's a waste for you to be speccing into Smiting Prayers when you could be augmenting the stuff you're good at: slaughtering stuff with a scythe! Try using some attacks like [[Mystic Sweep]. I think you have [[Victorious Sweep] in there, that one's pretty good. [[Chilling Victory] is ok providing you don't spam it too much - it can get a bit expensive. Consider changing your secondary profession to Warrior for skills like [[Wild Blow].
On the armor: Radiants are really not all they're cracked up to be. Would suggest you switch to Survivors, or Blessed maybe. +energy only gives you higher energy, which is not necessarily good - it just means you have more to regen after every fight. Whilst we're on the subject of Armor...the runes. You can only have one rune of each type. - ONE Scythe Mastery rune, ONE Mysticism rune, etc... If you put on more than 1, they wont all be "counted". I would suggest you use a Minor Scythe Mastery on your headpiece (Superior Runes are rarely worth the -75HP), and use a Minor Mysticism and Minor Earth Prayers on your clothes. Wind Prayers is too weak in PvE to be worth bothering with at this stage.
Ok, Build number 2. *Grabs Megaphone* :: "PUT THE STAFF DOWN AND STEP AWAY FROM THE HEALING PRAYERS!" Leave Healing Prayers alone...more importanly, leave Healing to the Monks and the Ritualists. Whilst Dervishes "can" heal, after a fashion, there is never a real need for it when there are Monks available (and, for you, Dunkoro is "always" available ). Stick to the Scythe!
Recommend you try using [[Avatar of Lyssa] sometime for bigger numbers, and take a Ritualist Hero with you equipped with [[Splinter Weapon] for more "lulz"!

You know the Kurzick / Luxon skill converts into holy damage....right? OKAY, onto the build. Basically, there's no way of making them better unless you rip them apart. Avatar of Balthazar is a terrible skill. It offers buffs that are either: No use in PvE or can be obtainable by other means. Speed boost: [signet of mystic speed] / [enchanted haste] Armour boost: [conviction] Holy damage: [heart of holy flame] / [aura of holy might] My suggestion for change: [[Avatar of Melandru], along with [[Wearying Strike]. [[wounding strike] is another good choice of an elite. Spammable deep wound that is practically free. If you're having energy problems, [[attacker's insight] is a good choice. It's good from 4 spec onwards. As for attack skills; skills that have 4 second recharge are good for a "Vanilla attack skill", and really the best ones are [[mystic sweep] and [[eremite's attack]. Skills which have recharges which are a little long and have big damage effects, such as [[chilling victory] / [[pious assault]. You shouldn't really be concentrating on spells though. Damage from your scythe at 14 and upward, even below is alot more powerful than spellcasting will ever be. As a Dervish you have the most powerful martial weapon in the game. And runes / insignias; radiants are bad. You have much, much better options available and extra energy won't help nearly as much as energy management. I suggest boosting your survivability via survivor insignias / +AL insignias. Also, superior runes lower your survivability by alot. They are extremely bad, but if you want the boost in damage, go for it. I'm not stopping you. Attribution; you should max out scythe mastery. That's something all melee should be maxing out. You'd be foolish to do otherwise. You should also try to have these in your build: IAS (Increased Attack Speed) and Deep Wound. Choices are [[pious assault], [[wounding strike] and [[wearying strike] and for IAS [[heart of fury] or [[flail]. Other good elite choices are: [[avatar of lyssa], [[ebon dust aura] and other stuff. Be sure to check the Derv guide too. Not sure if there is one stickied, but whatever. zling
the first thing that pops up is the fact that you have a Superior Scythe Mastery rune and 3 Minor ones. these runes dont stack so infact you only get +3 Scythe Mastery not +6 like you probably expected. keep either the Superior(at the cost of 75 health) or the minor and salvage the rest of the runes with a Perfect Salvage Kit(it can only be aquired in EotN and since you dont have it you'll need to buy it from other players, hopefuly friends/guildies with EotN)
as for the builds themselves, what are they supposed to do? regular PuGing PvE, Soloing, PvP(very unlikely), Farming? cause to me it seems like you've tried to mix a PvE build with a Farming build(130 hp style) and the results is a rather random build. remember that when making a build you need to decide what the build is made for, as each role requires different skills.
