Oh my! Sudden dissapearence of Shadow runes?

I was in Lion's Arch a few moments ago when this alarming saga happened:

Assassin: Can I buy a superior shadow arts rune?
Me: Yes... at the rune trader... she has them.
Assassin: It's not there.
Me: Yes it is! Zomg it's right... oh my goodness :O.

As this screenie shows, the major and superior shadow arts runes have simply been wiped off the list! How alarming! (Areanet's sneaky way of countering perma sins, or an innocent bug?)

all sup. shadow arts runes have been sold out ages ago, because so many ppl made Assasins to easily farm ectos in UW

Closer to the first one actually. See, the trader sell what they buy from players, meaning players have to sell the runes so the can sell them... see where it's going I guess.


Sudden change of subject : how did trader start? Did they have a certain amount of item so we coul dbuy from them? random personnal curiosity.

Traders wouldn't buy minor vigors from me earlier, but it's ok because I think it's only because I'm Canthan and not because the game is broken.

Anet does not do that. The traders only have what is sold to them.

Being Canthan has nothing to do with it and no, the game isn't broken. It's either that they are the old vigors from way back or they have what ever amount they are limited to hold.
