keep getting BSOD's

so i got this new computer, installed it and everything went fine for 1 and a half days.

now i get BSOD's while playing guild wars and gives the error: (0x100000d1 0x00000062, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xbabe2d37).


any1 has any idea how to fix this?

i'm using an:
intel c2d E8200
gygabyte EP45-DS3 mobo
MSI 9600GT
buffallo 4GB ddr2 memory
maxtor 250GB HDD
1 standart dvd rewriter from HP
620m realpower PSU from coolermaster.

im using the same processor as you, also getting BSOD during loading screens, not too sure how to fix it tho

i don't get it during loading screens, i get it while walking around.

Try setting the Affinity to one core and see if this helps either of you for a basis;

Open up Task Manager, Right Click Gw.exe, go down to ''set affinity'' and un-check all but one core, then apply that.

See if you BSOD anymore, we can go from there if so.

It just happens to be that sometimes Guild Wars can crash from multi-processor CPU's, and setting the affinity to run on only one core can help fix this, or you can use ForceCore to launch the game only using 1 core every time.

ok, i've read on the gigabyte site that the new bios improves the compability of DDR2 memory, so i'm gonna upgrade the bios and see what happens

ok, i updated bios (thank god for gigabytes @bios program, fastest bios update i've ever seen).

gonna do some test, gonna see how everything works out tomorow.

GW runs really good now, getting 60-70fps with AA and AF and vertical sync turned on

Ok, so what fixed it? The BIOS update?
