Nf/faction char -> droks
H2SO4
Say I have proph/nf char that goes to lions arch.. is there any way to get to beacons perch to run/fight to droks or do i have to go via sanctum cay ?
Deathroses
Yes, you can bypass Sanctum Cay and go straight to Beacon's. From there, you can make your way to Droknar's. Most of the places in Prophesies are accessible without having to do the entire mission to get there. For the route, you can just pull up a map of Tyria, and just trace your way to Drok's from LA via Beacon's.
The hard part would be that you have to start with a 6-man team from Beacon's and the henchies available are low-levels. Alternatively, you can always hitch/pay for a ride.

You can walk back to Ascalon if you wanted to, all the areas available to Tyrians are available to you. From Beacons Perch, you can fight if you want (though it's unlikely you'll make it), or get a runner. You can also get there 'the proper way' by doing the missions in order.

From LA go to North Kryta Province ->Scoundrel's Rise -> Griffon's Mouth -> Deldrimor Bowl -> Beacon's Perch.

Start from the map there, and work your way north-east. You really should play the prophecies campaign properly, though. That way you'll learn the areas a bit better.

Sounds like you want to do the Drok's run?
Coming from Factions or NF, you're going to probably be higher level (17+?), so getting from LA to Beacon's is pretty easy. Getting from Beacon's to Droks is the challenge - and, I assume, why you're asking.
Prophecies was designed with a slow character progression in mind. Coming from Ascalon and doing the quests and missions, the mob levels rise to stay a challenge to a Prophecies character who would be about the same level. The missions progress from East to West, then swing South and back east to the Crystal Desert. There, you'd have to do the Ascension missions before taking the Dragon's Lair and then arriving at Drok's.
Going backwards, LA to Beacons, you'll be higher - likely much higher - in level than the mobs you have to get thru.

Going backwards, LA to Beacons, you'll be higher - likely much higher - in level than the mobs you have to get thru. the only exception to this is the route of the Droks run. from Beacon's Perch you *can* exit to Lornar's Pass and end up in the Southern Shiverpeaks prematurely, thus as a low level character which you would be if you're a Prophecies char you'd have no way to survive in there. however now with heroes and PvE only skills you can fight your way from Beacon's Perch to Droknar's Forge if you dont want to run it(or pay a runner for it). Sabway and Racthway will both work, doesnt really matter which low lvl henchies you take with you...
