I really like the idea. Having those hats is a bigger achievement than buying minis or Hero armor upgrades.

They could add a shelf in the armor-monument to diplay the hats^^

Completely unfair to newer players. Everything else in the Hall of Monuments can be obtained by newer players if they so desire, I see no reason to add something that they can't possibly get.

If you started playing today, would it be possible to get Obsidian armor? (hint: yes) How about the rarest miniatures, like the panda? (hint: yes) Could you get a full set of Tormented weapons? (hint: yes)

Of course those things will take time. But still obtainable.

I'm not "whining" that it would be unfair. I'm stating it. And this is speaking as a player who has all but the first Halloween mask.

festival hats have always been unfair to new players... adding them to the HoM would be no difference...

i support a way for achieved festival hats to be brought into GW2. i also think it would just be cool to show them off at you hall.

(edit: ok there was that lion mask thang that happened )

thats not called punishment, its called rewarding those who played the game from the start.

and i highly doubt anyone playing right now is new. if their acct dosnt have any festival hats, its more likley they are on a mule acct because their main got banned. not because they are new
