Well look no further!
What this is:
A collection of templates for PvE and PvP across different facets of each mode. This project, however, strives for 3 goals with this collection:
*Are organized neatly
*All templates have a naming structure that they follow
*Stays up to date.
What is currently in this?
Currently this project has ~600 templates (some of them are C+P'd across modes) for PvE (General and Heroes) and PvP (all game modes), that are currently all taken from PvXwiki & other sources.
What isn't currently in this?
Anything that isn't in a Great section on PvXWiki, Farming & Running builds, and Team builds, and Equipment Templates.
What is the organization structure?
When you open up your templates menu, you will see two folders:
PvE
PvP
User (the user folder is for YOUR templates, you should place all your own templates in this folder so that they are preserved for future updates.)
When split they look diverge into:
PvE: General / Hero
PvP: AB / CM / HA / HB / GvG / RA / TA
Each one of these diverge into folders for each of the 10 classes. (Some sections do not have folders for certain classes, yet, as there is no great build on PvXWiki for them in that section.)
Naming structure:
[Primary][space][secondary][build name][tag]
Tags are currently only GREAT, but will later include additional tags.
How do I download this?
You may download it at http://fortranik.leafo.net/Templates.rar.
How do I install this?
This depends! If you are a new user, please follow the instructions below, if not skip ahead past them to the next section!
To install on Windows XP:
-Open the .rar.
-Drag your Skills folder to C:/Program Files/Guild Wars/Templates/Skills.
To install on Windows Vista:
-Open the .rar
-Drag your Skills folder to C:/users/[username here]/Documents/Guild Wars/Templates/Skills. If you have existing templates, thanks to my naming structure and organization, it won't overwrite any of your templates.
How to install this if you have a currently existing Ultimate Template Project v1.0/1.1 installation:
Step 1 - Take any templates you may have added and wish to keep, and Copy & Paste them all into a safe place.
Step 2 - Delete your Skills folder.
Step 3 - Follow the above directions for a clean install.
Step 4 - Place all the templates you saved into the Users folder found in your new Skills folder.
Enjoy, and let me know if you find any bugs or have suggestions etc.
