Upcoming nerf to SF?

I don't know if this is true, but I heard alot of people talking about how Shadow Form is going to get nerfed within the next few updates. Does anyone have any clarification? I really hope it's not true.

Game balance goes beyond self-interest.

who cares if people wanna farm ectos all day then let them.... waste of time if you ask me

for the last 2 weeks people in my alliance have been saying its gonna be nerfed this week farm as much as poss,even if they do ecto prices will take ages to go bk up

The question wasn't whether SF needs nerfing or not. There are lots of threads about that.

As to the OP, its just rumours at the moment. Unless you read a post by Regina (or other ANet rep), or its announced in a Dev Update, there's usually no information about changes until they're actually implemented.

Future PvE nerfs are very unlikely given the PvP/PvE split. PvP is what prompted most nerfs. Take Ursan by way of example. Supremely overpowered in PvE, yet its been left alone for months despite changing the way the game itself is played. Nothing will happen to SF. A nerf for a broken skill should happen within the first week, and it has not in both cases.

If it gets nerfed in this month, people will complain and QQ.

If it gets nerfed at the end of the year, people wont complain and QQ as much as if it got nerfed within a month.

So my best assumption is that Shadow Form will not get nerfed until Ectoplasm is worth 3k each. Once that happens, it'll get nuked to the deepest ends of the universe.

Concise: Expect complaining and QQ within this month.

The ideal situation would be to give Mindblades Leech Signet or something. It's not a big deal anyway.

dont you guys think that Anet would wait till all the favor is gone, and then see's what happens after that?

i know that most of the perma sins are gonna buy up all the UW scrolls, but with limited availability to get in, it would restrict the ammount of ectos in the market.

There's no official word if there will be a change to it yet.
