Well, I find it interesting to start a new character every now and then ^_^
Hunt around for all the little quests you missed. Go in a random place and join a PuG. Might not want to do that if you're the easily annoyed type, but I find it fun.
Grab a newbie in Northern Wall and get them masters in all the missions up to LA
Make sure you have all outposts (my 16 month-old legendary guardian Ranger still doesn't have Anvil Rock, by example, and she's prophecies-born)
Go to Shing Jea and argue. People love doing that there, for some reason.

what i do, i like to play another game i find, like halo, ghost recon, (im the shooter game type) or something else... as a last resort... dare i say*gasp* runescape. yeah if you switch games for about a week or so, you can get back to gw and have fun

If your talking about another game, then I play Team Fortress 2. Also finished Bioshock, COD4 and Crysis this year with Assassin's Creed to go.
