Game Changing Discoveries v1

Hello, let me introduce myself. I'm Rieden Sindefy, and 99.999% of you don't know me because I have no name in the game. I have, though, recently been thinking outside of the box in an attempt to come up with some game changing discoveries. Lately, here are some of the things that I've found.

First off, when solo farming, I decided to test to see if adding heroes/henchies and flagging them away (so they don't get drops) eliminated loot scaling and increased the drop rate. Good news! It may have just been luck, but I think flagging henchies away from you while you solo increases the drop rate by about the old 8x again.

Next, I have some discoveries about the Dragon Arena, for all you zkey farmers our there

Trees, the posts in the middle, and the stairwells on the side all can obstruct Dragon Blasts. Use these strategically to catch your opponent way off guard.

Lastly, the best choices for going into DA is either a sin or an ele, because their animation is about 1/40th of a second faster than other classes (meaning they always win Kowtos 1v1).

Can we state our own?

If so...

- Run people through Elona Reach for 1k each (run takes 8-10 mins) and make 30k an hour.
- Take Ursan into the fight with the Doppledanger in Hard Mode for a free 1k per character (after beating him - he can't use PvE skills)
- You can actually move around during cutscenes, potentially blocking the camera from view and preventing other people from watching cutscenes.
- Combine Glyph of Renewal and Auspicious Incantation as E/Me or Me/E for infinite energy in PvP without relying on enchantments.

Wow! Thanks for sharing this information. Someone might have said it before (if they have, you sadly will be flamed to death....sorry, can't do anything about it ) But I found your post helpful and interesting. Keep up the good work

I'm glad to help; I'm trying to find every nook and cranny in the D Arenas atm to improve everyone's chance of winning. BTW I tested the solo farm thing at Orrs in Gate of Kryta, so it might not be the case everywhere, but I can't fathom why it wouldn't be. If anyone else wants to help me confirm this lemme know.

There could be a very powerful combo based off that with decent fc.

OP, you might also want to try it at Cathedral of Flames. I can't be certain but I believe it also works there.

Yes, with Air magic. I have a (brand new) testing build on PvX which uses it. It might be better as Me/E.

Nice theres also if you flag your heroes away from bosses isn't there a good chance of you getting the green if one if dropped instead of the heroes.

Okay, just tested the full party thing a few times and I get pretty much the same quantity of drops...

Already knew about the first thing, but didn't know about the second thing. Nice find.

It's not very good when it wastes your elite slot though.

Arrows only rotate you. You can press Q and E to strafe in the cutscene. Thanks for that info, didn't know you can move during scenes.

I'm quite pleased with it, if I may say so myself.

As I say, Me/E probably works better, but I'm pushing forward that build into Testing now.

Ooh, another thing I just remembered...

Runners on dangerous/risky routes can res themselves very easily by taking a hero along and flagging them near the portal. If they get killed, their trusty hero can then be flagged out of the area boundaries where he will be teleported to the runner's position to start ressing them. It's recommended to take quick res skills to prevent foes from killing the hero before he can res.

That bit of info is really beneficial , many of my builds often don't need an elite , this combo is quite nice.

And one more bit of useless but fun information...

Some of the older towns still have weird portal bugs which let you run into the areas beyond to some extent without zoning. You can play games with people by announcing that you're giving away free stuff but they can't reach you easily without zoning.
