Before i get started its probably best if i describe who i am first.
For the past few years i have been the leader of The Chan Clan [pre][Chan][/pre] a skillful, active guild. Our members where made up of a mixture of experienced players and begginers dedicated to sharing information, helping out and having fun.
We our members where all mature individuals regardless of age (we had members aged 14 to 64). We belived in using decent builds to complete elite areas with skill rather than tank based or ursan builds. We welcomed any profession in our team setups as lnog as we could accomodate a build for them, be they mesmers, assassins or especially paragons (we formed a variety of all para teams to clear countless areas).
My primary character is a mesmer although i have a character of every profession, a 2nd warrior as a mule and a 2nd mesmer as a perma pre character. As well as mesmer i liek to play paragon, warrior and ritualist alot.
Now for what i am looking for in a guild.
I must warn you that i have very high standards.
I have only every been in 2 guilds in the 32 months i have been playing guild wars, each one for over a year.
Before joining a guild i insist on playing with the guild first in a guild team so i can decide if they are right for me. This also lets them decide if i am the right player for them.
I am looking for a guild that is:
Mature.
Skilled.
Does not use ursan or tanking builds.
Understands the usefulness of a paragon.
Can manage to complete any area with a mesmer on the team.
Doesnt' mistake a mesmer for a monk.
Has active members that partake in many guild activities.
Members are friendly and have a close community.
I prefer guilds to have forums however if they do not i can supply one myself. I am the webmaster for a paid for forum and wiki used by my current guild that can be converted, domain name, logo's etc to any guild i belive i will be sticking with.
