Spear Handle of Slaying Demon

I find that the demon slaying spear mod can be a VERY good addition for my paragon. But I didn't see the mod ANYWHERE!
Does anyone know if it exists and how I can obtain it?

Of ______ slaying is hard if ever found on non-core weapons. I know I had a pruning on a blue scythe when I started, GL finding it.

Yea, anything of ____slaying can be very hard to find on daggers, spears, scythes, and other non-core weapons. Thing is, if you go to Rata Sum, you'll eventually find one, as there are quite a few "blue" spear/scythe drops, and if you're patient, you'll eventually get someone willing to sell a spear mod of demonslaying. (best way to go about acquiring one imo)

There aren't slaying mods for non-core weapons.

Both the official wiki and unofficial wiki seem to disagree with you, although on both talkpages, it's been noted that no one has seen a non-core weapon with an "Of_slaying" mod on them, so it's questionable.

One correction though, if anything, it wouldn't be called a "Spear Handle of Demon slaying", it would be called a Spear Grip of Demon Slaying

There was a post on these forums that ran for several months where somebody was asking for pictures of a slaying spear/scyle/or dagger mod. One was never produced. Whenever the wiki was edited to reflect that, somebody would always edit it back. One of those things where stubborn people think they know more then us and ignore reality.

Also, the wiki doesn't say that there is one of each of slaying mod for each weapon. It just lists the different of slaying mods, and how the upgrade component is named. So just having one dagger mod is enough to include it in the chart. Considering how many deathbane items drop I would doubt that they exist for spear, daggers or scythe since no one provided one in the post HawkofStorms mentioned.

I was discussing this with my guild last night....

Here is what we know:

-Prophecies & Factions items can drop with +10al vs or 20%dmg vs (xx creature).

-Zaishen Chest will drop weapons with 20%dmg modifier, unknown if said spear/scythe/daggers have ever dropped with them however. Also, lack of an actual +10vs creature shield mod... so no-go there. Chances are, someone would have seen one by now.

-Glimmer of hope: Deep & Urgz. From what I understand, paragon zodiac shields can drop rarely as of the "create-a-weapon" winners were implemented (ive only seen inscribable myself, however). That, with the ceremonial spear and dragosa scythe added, it is obvious that the drop code has been upgraded slightly. A non-inscribable drop MAY yield this or similar (gogo pruning scythe lawl!) mods now that the new items are there.


Being as such, deep and urgoz is where these mods will be, if they be at all. And they would have only started dropping within the past couple of months... Unfortunately, it is more likely that the mod does not exist...

I also want a demonslaying spear!!! I hope it is out there!!!
I know there used to be a solo warrior build for the deep, but that was like 2 years ago... (kill first aspect and resign) Finding a way to solo the first kanaxai would be a good start.
