Skill icons next to damage numbers?

I'm not sure if I was in the process of falling asleep, but at some point quite a while ago, I remember seeing skill icons next to damage numbers (floating about). Am I crazy?

If not, how do I enable this?

Some types of damage do display skill icons next to the damage, for example many Elementalist AoE spells do.

There is no toggle for this and I do believe its only when you take dmg, not when you deal it.

It's to tell you what skills damaged you. You can't see the skill icon next to your damage because... well You used the skill so you should know what's affecting the mob.

I had to turn that off awhile back because when I was running and too many things popped up it would case my computer to crash. I forgot what it was but I'll go check. Pretty sure it's under UI display junk.

Okay. 'Show text in skill floaters' changes the skill icon displayed when you get hit by a skill into text, so if you have it enabled=text, disabled=image.
