Hey all. New to this forum, but had a quick question.

My friend and I made a couple characters to go questing together with. Kinda like twin Assassins. Well when we both got into the Monestary, we couldn't see each other. We checked our friend's list, and saw we were both online, we could whisper to each other, but we couldn't see each other to team up.

We logged onto different characters, and we had the same problem. Only two each of our characters could actually see each other in game, but the rest of our characters couldn't see each other. So therefore, we couldn't team up to do stuff together.

Is this a usual thing? My friend and I want to do stuff together, but we can't even see each other at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Guild wars towns are split into different "Districts". This system is in place to prevent 3000+ people from crowding one town. You can select which district you are in at the top left of your screen (at least I think that's the default). It's the bar with Country - Language - Active district. You and your friend have to be in the same district to see each other.

WHERE DO YOU THINK

And considering for the event that there where over 70 districts you would be lucky to find eachother on one char.

This is (sadly) a very rare occurrence nowadays. It was once the case that virtually every town in the Guild Wars world had to be split up into several districts. Now, there aren't enough people playing for this to happen, except during events like the current Dragon Festival.

I like to pretend it's because the game world has enlarged, so all the players are more spread out.

Unfortunately, I think I'm kidding myself
