Hi, a little while ago I bought the prophecies, factions, and nightfall pvp skill unlock packs, which, to my understanding, is supposed to unlock all the skills from that campaign. I've noticed however, that sometimes when I get a tome and attempt to get a skill from one of those campaigns, or when using a pvp character, that some of the skills from those campaigns aren't unlocked. Is there an exception to some of these skills, or should I contact the people at Guild Wars because I've been jipped?

There is also a core unlock pack, have you bought that one? It is separate from the campaign ones.

I suppose it might be an irrelevant question but can I ask what skills that you're short on?

May help figure out what is wrong.

Oh Shoot, well most of the ones I've discovered I just unlocked with faction and tomed. But the one I noticed today was Frozen Soil, if that helps.

I also have all the skills unlock (all campaigns and the core). One thing i noticed is that if I am "buying" a skill from Prophecy, the skills from other campaigns (Factions and NF) are not available in the skills trainer. So, I have to move to other campaigns to get the skill that I want.

I remember when I created a PVP char, there were some skills that are "grayed out" but when I clicked on it, I was able to learn the skill.

But my heroes have all the skills as soon as I acquire them.

If moving to other campaigns will not give you the skill that you are looking for, then maybe there's a problem with the one you bought (which i don't think possible).

Yeah i noticed that too. It thought my skill unlock packs were bugged at first but then I realised that I just needed to go to the right campaign.

So if I have a PvP character that is having that problem, do I need to make the character from the respective campaign to ensure I get the skills I want?

I don't think that's possible because who have to choose between PVE and PVP first before you can choose what campaign you want to play, right?

I think all the skills for your PVP character is already listed but some (or most of them) are grayed-out. But if you click on that skill, it will tell you that it has been "unlocked."

I don't play PVP actually but when I bought the skills unlock pack for the pvp, i create a pvp character to see if I really have those.

core skills can be bought in any campaign, but some skills are only available in cantha/elona/eotn and you need to go there to buy the skill you're looking for.

I thought that's what the point of buying the core skills unock pack was...so I wouldn't have to buy them just to unlock them...That's a little redundant. And it is only on a few certain skills that I discover periodically, most of them are unlocked.
