Fun times during the Festival

I had a lot of great matches in Dragon Arena. I even improved my game a bit. It's a real shame that Dragon Arena isn't around forever, since dodgeball is pretty fair about showing how good of a player you are.

I had fun selling all my tokens to one person who bought for 10k a stack . Also just dancing around in town...and the chatter in local was entertaining
And DA was full of win ^^

this was my first dragon festival and it was great! Lotsa great ppl in shing jea, dragonarena, and everywhere else! People didn't charge me for the darkness over kaitan quest run for my low level chars and the atmosphere was pretty fun and i got to earn money w/ the vtokens too! Like one of the other posters, i don't farm those elite places so all in all, this was pretty fun!

I had a great time. I spent about 45k on festival tickets and went afk overnight, woke up with r2 Lucky and r1 Unlucky (I didn't have rank in either before). I was in American District 13 for one of the runnings, there was a bug where none of the Grasps moved. We one 520-0, lol. I didn't spend time getting tokens because, frankly, I didn't know how high the profit margins were.
But I still had a great time, and I'm looking forward to the next event!

Congrats Anet this was the best event I have been to much better handled and player cooperation was great
I have never seen that before on this scale at any events in the last 3 years
all the people in the dist helped to win and even shared charge spawn points
and running them there was not fighting or name calling like last year.
Presents in inventory was so much better thought out as well not that horrible lag we got when they all started to drop hope they keep that for all future events.
My faith in the community and Anet has been restored this time around.
Grats everyone.

Despite its awesomeness, I think it would seem less special if it was around all year.
and /agree with the tigercopter comment. Extended to some chaos/fow armour wearing peeps though =).

got my first rank in lucky and unlucky title (never tried before so it was cool that i got them so quickly) made 160k selling tokens and i haven't even started selling my prizes yet. i actually participated in just one of the runnings and took turns with several people picking up charges from one spot and everyone was really cool.
even though i really dislike the mask (i would kill for a dragon mask since i missed that particular festival) and dislike the fact that you can't dye this mask, there was too many good things about the festival for me to complain. so.......thanks anet, had fun!

My experience was mixed im afraid :-(
I had fun playing with charges and our whole district trying to reach 600 points.
I had terrible lag through the entire event though, so sometimes i couldnt participate in the game because i couldnt see where i was runing too -_-
Some people kept going on about pressing alt+f4 for a mini pet. You always get them i guess.
Quite a few guildies came to the same district and we had a dance party and joked around with the locals, which was good :-) people then seemed to want to talk and talk about anything! ^^
Later I won a race in the roller beetle game and people congratulated me on winning, which i thought was really nice of them :-) (never had that before)
Though i tried playing in the dragon arena, it started and i lagged so much i couldnt move for 3minutes, i could see chat going up and people where insulting me calling me a leecher then i got reported for leeching -_- When i could finally move the match was over and i quickly said i was lagging its not my fault.
I got closer to r4 on the rings and lots of prezzies ^^ SO all in all a good event :-)

I had a blast hanging out in Int dist 1 at the Frozen dragon fest with blade radio! Gaile showed up quite a few times with the frog. That thing does have an amazing jump, Anet outdone themselves when they made that for her. Gaile's addiction kept her in the dragon nest a lot, we might need to send her to DNA (dragon nest anonymous) I even recall some said "queen" person getting beat by this lvl7 ranger in some dragon game thing, LOL! But yeah, the whole dist had a blast and surprisingly at such a big event there was like only 1 or 2 people that got somewhat out of line the whole weekend. That was quickly taken care of before it went to far.
This was my first event to hang with blade radio and I have to say that was the best event I've ever experienced in guild wars. Everyone in the dist was really kind and got along well. We had so much fun trying to see how high we could get the score. I think our top score was 586-0! We were pulling for 600 but just couldn't seem to get there. So the next event I know where I'll be!
Many thanks to Daniel Frozenwind for setting the event up and all hard work he done! And blade radio for being so awesome! And all the give aways! And to everyone that was there, many thanks for being so kind to everyone in the dist. It was definitely a pleasant experience to be around such awesome people!!

I had fun yelling at the phone assistant who represent my internet providers telling them I am not yelling at them personally, then yell at them with the complaint then apologize to them cos I am not actually yelling at them but their company. Totally missed emperor Kizu, you know, this is the only time, all year round I get to be around during a festival .... other times i am always visiting relatives, luckily I already did the quest on 3 of my characters the day before internet was down, and had 750+ tokens for the mask and some firewater .... it was not fun ... i think i grew a few more grey hair ...

My first Dragon festival and I had a lot of fun and made some money. I didn't have any trouble getting help for my low level characters for the Darkness quest when I posted in search...lots of helpful & friendly level 20's out there.
Funnest part had to be when I got disconnected and returned to a district that didn't get enough orbs and lost, and everyone just started dying. Some guy working on his Survivor title ended up there and totally freaked when he died. Someone discovered if you danced the grasps wouldn't kill you so everyone started to dance.....
