Who are We: HotU is a close-knit Alliance, looking to grow. We cater to “mature” members who are just looking to enhance their game play. Our members are primarily American, however we do have UK, Canadian, Australian, Brazilian and other members. All are welcome!
What We Want:
· We are looking for like-minded close-knit guilds. We believe the alliance should be an extended part of a guild family.
· We want the alliance to be another place people can go to for help or just to chat.
· We are looking for fun-loving people that enjoy jokes and will feel free to speak out in Alliance Chat whenever they want.
· We prefer that our guilds in the alliance have members that are primarily 18 +. This is due to the fact that Alliance chat can get rather vulgar, however it’s not a requirement. We trust our fellow Guild’s officers to recruit at their discretion.
· We do not take ourselves too seriously, so a sense of humor is a MUST!
· Guild Leaders and Officers who will register to the HotU forums and take an active role in discussion. Our forums are a place we can discuss and work out alliance issues, as well as place to find out any announcements HotU and allies my have.
What We Don't Want:
· We will not censor Alliance Chat. Our vision is to give people a place they can be free. We want Alliance members to be able to say whatever they want. Because of this, Alliance Chat can get vulgar. If you are easily offended, we are not the alliance for you. WARNING: If sex, drug use, and random acts of violence are offensive to you or your guildies, we are NOT the alliance for you.
· We do not faction farm. We like to give our members the freedom of pretty much doing what they like. If you want to AB and donate faction, that is your choice. So if you are looking for an alliance with loads of faction, we are not the place for you.
· If you AB, GvG, or do any missions with us, we will also NOT tell you what builds to run or which class to play. We may offer suggestions, but we believe everyone should learn what works best for them. The only exception to this rule is if you join us for Hardmode/Elite Dungeons in EotN there are certain builds that work best for these which we might need you to run based on your class. However, we will work with you to come up with the build and will even help you find the skills.
· We will NOT tolerate rudeness to Alliance Members. If you are just joking around with another alliance member and they are cool with it, that’s fine. But outright rudeness will NOT be tolerated. With that said, we understand that disagreements can occur. We expect our guilds to have officers and leaders who will step in and counsel their guildies when they are getting out of hand. If the parties involved are unable to reach an agreement, then I will step in and work with all parties.
What We Can Offer:

· We have become an alliance that does a little of everything. We have people working on titles, doing dungeons, UW/Fow farming, HM missions, or even new members needing help with missions in various campaigns on the PVE side. We also have alliance members that are working on PvP titles so you can usually find a place in HA or TA groups.
· GvG, Missions, AB, and Dungeon groups. We almost always have an extra spot in anything HotU may be doing, and we love for our alliance members to join us. Beats trying to find a PUG!
· Access to our Vent server. (All guild leaders are provides a login name and password and admin access to their own guild channel)
