Connecting to Arena Net..
Runahs
I know there's multiple threads and I'm having the same problem where it says "Connecting to Arena Net" forever. I have done the -diag for the network diag and archived it but where can I upload it? If you guys can help me I'll love you forever.

Depends what you mean by upload. You can raise a support ticket with ArenaNet and add the .txt as an attachment, if that's what you mean.
If you mean posting it here, that's rather more tricky. There are some rather bizarre file size limits on guru. You can't post any attached .txts bigger than "hello world", but you can post in MS Word's doc. format with much larger sizes.
Things to try:

Things to try:
- Copy and paste from NetworkDiag.txt directly into a post here.
- Open the .txt in Word, save as a .doc and attach here
- Change the filename so that it reads NetworkDiag.txt.doc (sneaky) then attach it here (like this->) test.txt.doc

Alright nvm then I'll just pm you if you can tell me what to do if I show you

Same problem. But I un-installed because of it, and when I try to re-install, it can't connect to Arena Net.
I sent a message to their support. No reply for 2 days. And I'm trying to re-install it right now, and it's still stuck at "Connecting to Arena Net"

Anyways I checked multiple forums and found multiple posts of people who had the same problem as me, I did everything all the people said to him and now it works. I'm not sure what exactly fixed it but I'm really happy now that it works.

Well, nope. it's not working for me. Are you sure you didn't do anything? Could you link the certain posts?

I just got this darn Connecting... thing now. Both computers, both accounts, and it started happening just after I tried to reroll a PvP only slot. Anything I try to make auto-displays as a Warrior, and it won't let me connect.

You're pretty gullible, I guess you've heard a lot of that "went to go get your IP address" or something type of deals way too much, eh?
There is basically absolutely nothing someone can do with your IP address, except use an IP tracker like domain tools to know where you roughly live.
It's utterly harmless.

Go to the tech support or w/e they have I forgot what it was called and go a few pages back and there's a few threads on it.

Yuck, too much to trawl through there. I see they had the cheek to post Inde's sticky on network connectivity issues in that forum....
One useful bit of info for Netgear users though - http://www.plaync.com/us/support/doc_2607.html?prod=48 - I'd forgotten about that. Probably not an issue with more recent Netgears, but still worth bearing in mind.

You have to reinstall Windows unfortunately. This is some funky glitch with Windows if GW becomes corrupted or uninstalls improperly. The only solution I have yet to find is to reinstall Windows. Sorry I don't have better news for you. You can try "tech" support, but they will most likely tell you your RAM is bad or something ridiculous.
