Rescue Hero Quest, weird return??

Ok i took my sin to elona area, completed a fair few quests, aquired Koss as a new lower level hero,mapped out a few areas upto the astralarium, did a quest to go rescue koss back off the corsairs, from in a previous quest ,he'd been captured, but the weird part , when he was captured, he'd been eqipped with a gold sheild, and a relative nice purple insctripted axe, now after the rescue he was back to using his starter sword n sheild, instantly i was like "what the " ???? where the heck did his axe and sheild go ??? >> i'm not to lucky for getting gold drops, either, (corsairs sold off his sheild n axe in a crap game ) = sarcasm = /

They got eaten by the dreaded Hunger...you will meet it later on in the game.

O.O gee i hate to sound ............ but just what did u mean by that, ? ^^im assuming u mean his wepon and shield i had equipped him with ?

The Hunger is a Monster Boss that will turn up later in the game. As for what happened to Koss' weapons, I have no idea what happened to them...

Might be a bug. I've never had that happen (lost equipment I had put on Koss, that is). Good luck to you!

Will take one of my chars over to Elona and see if it happens to me.

I just did the same quest last night with my Assassin. I just checked and Koss has the collector sword and bonus shield that he had equipped when he was taken hostage.

Are you sure you equipped the axe and shield on your sin's Koss and not the Koss on another one of your characters?

ok, just to check, i went to other charectars who had koss, and no his gold shield and purple axe was stilll missing, and not on other toon's hero koss, might've been a bug at the time , just weird it happened = /
