@mods: I looked and couldn't find anything, but if there already is a thread like this, feel free to merge/delete this thread.
But anyways, I want dye remover back, and I know a lot of people do as well, I know Anet has said they "can't" do it, but I doubt it. I would like to have a dye remover, as well as gray dye, so those who like gray dye can have it, and those who want dye remover, can have it as well. I feel if dye remover was brought back, it would allow for more unique color combos, like blood red on necro armor, light pink on ele armor, and aqua green on mesmer armor, etc etc.

Petetion: Bring back dye remover.

/not sign ..... I like the system the way it is now. It helps to keep the dye market moving... If you want to change your armor and dye it black, you have to go buy new black dye. Not just reuse the old one. Or am i missing the concept of the dye remover? I don't ever remember there being one. Then again i have only been playing for little over 1.5 yrs.

I miss the old color combos and the abillity to mix the dyes...ah well, anet "cant"(aka they wont take the time to)do it so ah well
@Sir Earl Lionheart
Dye remover was the gray dye of prophecies and factions, then nightfall came(i think) and we got gray dye).....i might be wrong on the whole when gray dye came, but you get the idea

That would make sense if they changed the base textures to work better with the current dye system:
- Metal: Light gray.
- Leather: Tan .
- Cloth: Beige.
That way dyes would mix better and a dye remover would really remove colors.
But as dyes work now, it would just allow to see the current base textures. And won't help at all. And gods know what would be the reult of adding a de remover to a dye combination.
First, fix the current dye system to ignore base color or change the base textures so the current dye system works correctly on them, and then we'll talk about dye removers.
