if you have those passwords in a file, you can always transfer them with an usb stick, CD's or whatever.

Very easy, and I highly recommend it. I think you can even set up profiles of a sort, so only certain bookmarks will sync with certain computers. Excellent excellent addon.

Searching the add-ons site revealed this extension for importing/exporting passwords. I myself haven't used it before so I can't give my recommendation on using it. It's worth a shot if you don't feel like using the old pen-and-paper method.

No addon needed! Do it manually.

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Mozilla
Vista: C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla

Remember, transfer and replace the whole Mozilla folder, everything will be transferred over, inc. plug-ins and themes.

Use this little app for managing your passwords securely and move them around your computers:

The only problem with doing it manually, is that it only does it once. With something like foxmarks, any time I add a bookmark from any computer I use, I can access it from any other computer I use.

Which is not something you should do if your bookmarks contain sensible stuff (url to confidential documents and website) by the way. I'm just saying this because people may forget that the bookmarks are stored on a server that may be accessible by many (reminds me of this secret and important DoD document that went public thanks to Google!). Don't get me wrong, this is a super and secure add-on, but just be sensible!

Also I forgot to ask (or add) That I will be transferring it from Win XP 32 bit to vista 64 bit. So should this method still work?

Yes, Vista x64 is no different in that aspect.
