Inexpert Mesmer needs a good home

I've been playing for all of about three days now and needless to say I haven't quite settled in yet. I'm still learning some of the nuances Guild Wars has to offer.

I'm hoping to find a guild that allows for a more casual playstyle instead of power-leveling/questing through all the good stuff. I need to be able to watch those cutscenes and know my guildmates will be enjoying it as much as I am. Hopefully there'll be room enough for pick-up partying so I can start ditching the henchmen meatshields once in a while without feeling like I'm calling in a favor by asking for some guildmates to go exploring with me. Right now I just feel I'm missing out on the best part of the game by not having a group of friends I can count on hanging out with when I sign on. I'd prefer to run with an 18+ crowd and a stable guild.

For better or for worse I'll be signing on as a Mesmer. It's been fun so far with a funky learning curve but I feel with enough practice I could fill a niche of some sort. If nothing else I'll bring some much needed fashion to the grim post-Searing world.
