Improvement to Trade System

Idea: No longer type what you want to sell

Method: Developing a right-click menu on the item you want to sell. Split the trade section in the party window up to 3 sections: trade, sell, and buy. Also, allowing multiple items to be sold this way. Ie-have a limit of 3 ads per person at one time. If a person decides they would like to purchase an item, they would simply pm the seller on the item they want: ie-Buyer(ad1)I would like to purchase.

The main idea here is to use the right click menu to sell something. Even creating a link of sorts that would have a pop-up with the item stats and skin (if applicable). Thoughts?

that would be great. Also if you could leave your "ad" there and go do something else and if someone wants to buy they can PM you even if your not still in that town.

they have been wanting an auction house or something similar to this since day 1 of Guild Wars and it has never been implemented. I would also love to see something like you suggest or just an in-house auction.

i would also like to see them add a feature where you can search through ads using keywords to find a specific item. that way you dont have to scroll through like a hundred different ads in kamadan.

Honestly, I'd be happy if they just added a description box feature or something. I'm sick of ads getting cut off in the search window.

Eventhough most people seem to want it, I seriously doubt it'll get implemented this late in the game, eventhought I for one would love it ;o.

I dont think Anet will implement any new ideas now, but an auction house is necessary in GW2...lets cross our fingers

I hope Anet realizes that the trade system is GW was a complete disaster. I dont think they will ever try something to fix it now, especially the way the economy is these days. The best we can hope for is that they try and come up with something as close to an Auction House as possible in GW2.
