Do you tend to micromanage your heroes? And if so how do you do it? ie do you bind their skills to certain keys or do you use the mouse to click on whatever enemy/ally then the hero skill (while I assume you leave the hero command windows open)

just curious, I personally only micromanage if I HAVE to because I tend to get confused if I micromanage too much and then make mistakes with my own character while doing that (ie use a skill/waste enery on a skill that I didn't need to use)

I also micromanage certain skills if the hero doesn't use them much and I think the skill is needed for whatever situation I'm in

I flag them almost all the time but that's it, they can use their skills whenever they like.

I might preprot myself before taking aggro but that's it.

I have my number pad keyed to the skills of the first hero in the list. It's handy for places where I need to throw down a prot on a specific person or need a skill to be used at a certain time.

I usually press F and then click a skill on their bar :]

I'm going to start micro-ing Dunkaro. Someone dies, he's got a perfectly good Resurrection Chant on his bar, and he doesn't use it...

I flag them all the time, but unless I'm in hero battles I tend to use builds which require as little micromanagement as posible.

I micromanage a lot.

Usually flag heroes apart individually, have a set order for skills and order within party, so they're always in the same pattern on all my chars. Makes it easy to micro...

Also, I have Prot Spirit & SoA on my monk binded to Fn+7 & Fn+8 (I play on a laptop)...so I'm never more than a quick key press away from decent protection to buy me breathing room.

Also micro some skills offensively manually, such as Rigor Mortis on the Margonite Monk before going at him with my Sin, or a quick Enfeebling Blood on that Destroyer of Sinew / Bone / Flesh tearing apart my backline while I kill the necro destroyer using orders...

Bunch of other stuff too...for instance I remote control my Pyre for pulling by using pin down on the most annoying melee tank in a group so by the time he catches up to the fight, the monk is dead.

flag functions bound, key skills disabled/bound.
I also sometimes manage their targets but I do that manually (don't even know if their is a way to bind it but I'm not sure I still have keys left)
