It's hard to believe that you have to download 100k files if you do -image. I don't remember the number being that big the last time I reinstalled GW. I also have to download over 20k files just for the Guild Hall. Double-u-tee-ef?

Depends on your connection. But whenever I have to do a reinstall, I just leave it on overnight.

a few hours probably, depending on your internet connection.

the full gw.dat is 3.55gb.

Ouch. But yeah, that's about normal. Over cable, it took me about 2.5 hours last time. If I recall correctly anyway.

If you install the game by the newer dvd version of the game, then the download time would be a lot shorter as well.

Use the EoTN CDs if u have them, wont take as long :P
