Previews! Why not???

Ok i dont know why this hasent been done but it should be done

u know when u go to craft a wepeon say.. torment or somthing and all you get is a tiny picture to see if it looks good or even suit your armor. its the same with armor the tiny picture to see what it looks like.

WHY! isnt there a preview button where you can see what it looks like on you. like when u dye armor u get the preview why isnt that the same for armor and weps?

anyone else think this is missing from GW?

yeah, i wasted months chosing one elite armor cuz i didn't know which one was going to be better in my char

there are websites you can see pics of things at. use those.

We asked for Armor preview a long long time ago...and got nothing.

Same will come of this, but not a bad idea.

agree with you on that. I still have a problem seeing it even with glasses

With all possible dye combinations? Doubt that.

What would be nice is for all crafters to have access to the Dye preview window.

When you talk to a crafter the window opens and you select the item you wish to craft. The preview window then pops up show your char with that piece equiped and a confirm/cancel option.

The best option you have is /wiki.

At least that is built into the game So you can see the name of what you are searching for removing the need to keep alt-tabbing.

I agree with this guy.

No reason to implement this.

The reason this was a good idea for dyes was with all the different combos and being able to choose 4 made for tens of thousands of combos, which was not easily found if you wanted some crazy off-beat combo, and each combo looked different on each item it was put on. With armors and weapons, there's one possibility of a skin and it is easily found on wiki.

yea ok but still it would be alot easier to do this if u want to mix armors then u can see with the colour you want and on what char u want before u buy.

I was just thinking the same thing today---
I got my necro some monument stuff and well it just doesnt go well with what she has---now if I had been able to preview it with what she was wearing at the time (like the dye preview) I might not have wasted 30p on armor that doesnt match anything else----

I'd love the preview for amour...I hate the way that my hair looks with the armour I have...Either let me change my hair, or let me preview my armour.

/signed - It would be good for not wasting precious money in Guild Wars. I owuld hate to buy a Tormented Weapon and it doesn't go along with my character. I would just be really mad if that ever happened.
