I haven't ever created a build before - most of the time I just leech off PvXwiki. This time, though, I wanted to make a build that was capable of putting out a good amount of damage pretty quickly. As a result, this was born.

http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:P/any_Spear_Spamagon

It works pretty well from what I can tell, but I was hoping to get a couple other opinions. So...give it to me straight.

Replace [Wild Throw] with [Wearying Spear] and use [Signet of Return] in the optional slot and it's the exact build my guild leader uses on his Paragon. I've run with him a lot and it works wonders, Wearying Spear sounds bad but with both SoR and monk support it's basically just a huge damage skill.

I may be wrong but I love his - and your - build.

Ninja edit: he alternates between Focused Anger and Cruel Spear

Throw in Save Yourselves and you have your good ol' standard imbagon. Which is most effective.

The reason I threw in [skill]Wild Throw[/skill] is for the unblockable aspect. I absolutely despise blocking stances.

Gift3d, I didn't even look at the imbagon build, but I want to stay away from SY and focus more on straight damage.

To use gfte the most effectively, don't you need an energy based spear attack?

Not really. "Go for the Eyes!" is still a powerful skill for energy management.

Leader-Legion of Avalon [LoA] Alliance-Recruiting PM for info!

Looks like a decent build, but I'd replace Focused Anger with Cruel Spear if you want straight damage.

Also PvE skills like Ebon Standard of Honor and I am the strongest for more damage output would be sweet.

Agreed on not needing an energy attack. You'll net gain 1.2 adrenaline on hit using an adrenaline attack, 2.2 adrenaline with an energy attack. It only costs 4 and it has a 4 second recharge, you should really be back to 4 either at or soon after recharge.

Now if you were trying to fuel [Save Yourselves!] along with something like [Stunning Strike] then maybe you need an energy spear attack.

[you move like a dwarf][awe][frenzy][Cruel Spear][Mighty Throw][finish him]["There's Nothing to Fear!"][signet of return]

This build has worked well for me in PvE.

Focused Anger use to just power those 3 skills is a waste of an elite. I agree with other and would go with cruel spear for damage, and change both adrenaline attack skills to energy based attack skills (or one if you want to keep the stance removal). GFTE will be more than enough to power that build along with AoF.

@ the above build, I don't like Mighty Throw. It slow down the adrenaline gain rate on other skills, and in the time it took to activate it you could have hit 3 times with auto attacking while under frenzy. That could easily out damage Mighty Throw depend on the target. And isn't that build kinda energy intensive even for a paragon?

What I kind of had in mind when I made this was a Paragon equivalent to the Warrior FGJ/Dragon Slash spammer. I wanted something where I could consistently spam +20 damage attacks, not go on auto attack until I've built up 7 or 8 adrenaline for a +35 damage skill.

Actually I don't use that skill, I was putting the build together out of memory.

Turns out I have [go for the eyes] in that slot, energy management is tough at times yes. Keep in mind this build is meant to shut down Boss Casters fast and finish them quickly.

Energy attacks ([[spear of fury], [[spear of lightning]) are good as you dont need to wait to use them. Also consider [[Ebon battle standard of honor] for no weak auto-attacks.

And vampiric spear FTW.
