I would like to know how Random Arena is like during this weekend for other people.
So far I've had.

Party members not showing up
007 disconnects when the counter hits 0 before entering a match
Huge lag spikes.
In short: it's costume brawl all over again.
How's Random Arena for you during the weekend.

Once I got to rank 3 Gladiator last year, I took a retirement from it. No point in raising your gladiator rank if you only need so much to get it in the HoM. Why waste more time? Am I right?

Last night I had massifve lag spikes. i though I had d/ced then after 30secs-min I lagged from the start gates to under the bridge on the beach map, and saw 640 dmg worth of attacks pop up on my screen x.x

On a positive note, Age of Conan players are getting regular 10k pings and disconnects everywhere they go all the time, so ArenaNet's doing much better than Funcom in server stability terms.

This is getting utterly stupid. Hardly any people are successfully loading in to the map and those who do get in can't move for the lag. If all of these people are lagging it can't be my connection that is the problem.
Why bother creating an event like this without sufficient resources to cope with it?

Only way I could get gladpoints is playing as a monk, most monk's playing ra this weekend are pve players trying to heal stuff with healing seed and heal party... Needless to say, they die the second a warrior frenzy's on their ass

Had a CRAZY match on the Crag (kill count) today. All 8 players were in slideshow mode for the entire match. All anyone could do was buttonmash and hope for the best. My team won 7-5, but it was brutal.

I've had normal lag as well as a few lag spikes here and there. I haven't gotten much for gladiator points, but faction is still coming in pretty nicely.
