Idea for Pre Searing

There are currently four bosses in Pre
1.Monk
2.Necromancer
3.Mesmer
5.Elementalist

i'd like to see a Ranger and Warrior boss thrown in with the group as its the only proffessions available in tyria thats not a boss in pre, plus it'll be a lil extra exp, and lil extra chance of a charr kit or charr bag dropping, others might not agree but it was worth the shot in saying something, thanx for reading.

No, because that would make getting to level 16 a little bit faster and thus getting Legendary Defender of Ascalon faster, and with less the grind... And for all I know, Anet doesn't like to reduce the grind associated with titles. Plus LDoA is an exclusive title, it isn't one that you just go into presearing and get. It requires patience and determination, the reason I don't like your idea is it makes the title a bit easier for people just wanting the title and nothing else. Spending a longer time in presearing is nice because you get to know the community (well the good have of it anyways).

Plus, there already is a ranger boss in pre :P when you go to post you fight him, so it is still technically in pre.

Technically not in pre and cant do a charr hunt with them

and it doesnt really make the title that much easier, at lvl 14 it'll be an extra 60exp each boss

Yeah, because they hold ideas to a higher standard? The XP gained from a boss isn't enough to justify LDOA ease as an excuse, unless you want them to pop up near a rez, and that would be ludicrous.

You made the argument based on a premise which, based on the facts, wasn't true. Don't whine about the forum just because you don't do your research.

Well, if you wanted a Charr Ranger/Warrior for a Charr Hunt, then specify it. Not just

Mr. Bones is always there, and I think an small chest should appear if you kill him, and a set of toy greens (like Shing Jea's and Istan toy greens ) should drop from that chest, making him the first Dungeon boss ever and a good joke.

As for Vatlaaw Doomtooth, he's a quest/Mission boss, not a permanent boss, and won't harm to add another boss somewhere there. He could be a bandit boss and be waiting for players hidden in Melandru's garden (nearby fort Ranik).

Balancing out the classes of the bosses seems a sensible enough idea, besides, it's not like titles 'mean' anything to people other than those who've obtained them.

For more variety, interesting fights, and better balance of weapons in market this change makes sense. But as for some reason some people care about maintaining the difficulty of reaching level 16 I'd suggest to make those new 2 bosses randomly spawn as one of the 4 bosses always there, instead of increasing the number of bosses per run.

We don't really need ways to make LDoA better, however, adding a new area to Pre with higher levels would be better then the afk title we have now.

Personally i think people responding to this post don't have a clue, to get a honest view of the pre playerbase on this idea, go to presearing.com.
Getting to lvl 16 is not the problem with LDoA, that can take less than 30 hours of gameplay in the current rate of 4 bosses. This would not solve the 500+ hours of death lvling. So the decrease in time for the general title, would be decreased less than 1%.
Also if you haven't noticed, kits are already surplus, there alwasy at least one person trying to sell them, and hardly anyone buying. Most perma pres already have the runes they want, or can farm them themselves.
Unfortunately if there is a change in pre, i wouldn't want this one. I would prefer a means for people who don't have a stable internet a chance at getting ldoa.
There are people who wish to go for the title, but their internet can't stay connected constaintly 8-12 hours at a time, even on broadband. Personaly i would want accellerated char lvling if they are within spirit range of the shrine. This would not change the amount of non afk work, just decrease the afk wait. I think carefully watching the game for 2-3 hours for disconnects is reasonably, but for 8-12 hours would be insane.
