Druids?

Will their ever be a Druid proffesion in future guild wars installments? I remember alot of rumors of the Druid being a new proffesion for factions. I heared this way before Factions came out. Did any of you here about it as well?

well kinda. this is the def of druid: A member of an order of priests in ancient Gaul and Britain who appear in Welsh and Irish legend as prophets and sorcerers.
in games they tend me have wind and earth spells and can controll diff types of animals. they also tend to me ranged fighters vs melee.

There are already druids in the game, albeit not as a playable profession or even of the same race as players. I don't see this changing anytime soon.

Perhaps the Sylvari will fulfill your need for a druid. They will definitely be a playable race in GW2.
