Opinions On Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack

Buy it. The cinematics are beautiful -- I hope the GW2 cinematics are as progressive and intelligent as the BMP ones were. The weapons are ridiculously cool, and hey, it's $10 real life dollars for quite a bit of GW cash if you do all of the "discovery" aka Bonuses.
I say set a course for adventure!

ive always loved the whole taking a different skill set thing, yes even UB and the rest of the blessings. Its mainly b/c i enjoy the challenge of a set of skills that are predefined. The BMP gives you 4 missions that set a challenge with a fixed skill bar. plus the rewards skins are pretty awesome. I also agree on the post about the cinematic. For $10 its def worth it

It should be stated there are only 4 missions, length of each mission varies from 20min down to just under 9 min.
They are repeatable, but when you do repeat them it means your doing the exact same thing, no deviation, and you are given a new char to control with a fixed skill bar.
For the cost($10) what your getting is about 24K and unlimited suply of max inscribed items with nice skins.

I wanted to buy it when it was released. But I couldn't because there were no payment options for me. In my country a credit card isn't something that everyone has because our bank-pass allows us to get money out of the wall pretty much everywhere.
My brother, who played with English people, found someone kind enough to buy it for him. But, he needed to pay extra to the bank to transfer money to an English bank... which was no cheap joke...
Anyway, when you don't have the trouble of what I just wrote, then it might be worth the few skins if you like them.
I've seen the new skins on my brothers account and didn't like many of them and the missions were kind of cheap imo.

I think that the BMP is worth it, but be warned (as others have mentioned) that it only provides a few hours of entertainment. Most people play a scenario at most about four times for the challenge of unlocking the secrets, but afterwards you really aren't going to do them again.
The good news is that the BMP reward weapons are pretty nice looking and they are 100% free. You just beat the mission one time, turn in your book, and you get a max damage weapon right away (which often look better than end-game greens). You still need to mod the weapons yourself, but mods aren't that expensive anyway. Also, unlike any other weapon in game, they can't be traded to other players that are too cheap to pay $10 in real world money.
In my opinion, if the BMP weapons had been animated, then I think that they would have been some of the top weapon designs ever created for Guild Wars. I wish that they were animated, but I guess that ANet was worried about making them too cool, and then nobody would farm ecto anymore to buy "perfect" crystalline swords and crap.
