Ranger Build Idea

I bought GW:Platinum yesterday and ended up not being able to play it because my comp sucks. I WILL be able to play it in the future but until then I've thought about this idea build: A Beast Master - Minion Master mix. Your pet will help get the corpses while the Minions keep the damage off the pet. This any good? (If not my char will be going Beast Master) Also, does Platinum come with Nightfall and Factions as well as Eye of the North or is it just Eye of the North and Prophecies?

there are factions and nightfall platinum versions on amazon.com (i think), but the build wouldn't work because pets don't leave exploitable corpses...if i remember correct.

just do 2 charas get both profs and both builds...

Thanks. And I meant that I got the Platinum Edition of the game. Does it come with all 4 or just Prophecies and Eye of the North?

no, that's pretty much bad. pet damage sucks unless your whole bar is dedicated to buffing it, and you are using [enraged lunge].

ranger minion masters are bad becuase they dont gain any energy from dieing minons like Necros do from soul reaping.

Just Prophecies and EoTN. You will need to purchase Factions and Nightfall separately. Just make sure to add them to your existing account through your login screen so your characters can travel between them.
