A lot of times when you're farming rep points, you come across foes that res each other. It's very annoying and we don't get points for killing them again. So my idea is to let us have the points even if the foe is ressed.
Exceptions would be for bosses, and maybe if it's a ressed foe we'd get half the amount of points we would normally get. Perhaps in hard mode we still couldn't get the points for a ressed foe, but in normal mode I see no problem.
Or, if it's the res skill that's the problem, consider the self-ressing mandragors in Grothmar Wardowns. They res randomly even when the group is dead. No skill brings them back to life, yet they still res and we still get no points for killing them again. I think we should at least get points for foes that res themselves.

This is just a bad idea, I don't care about whatever reasoning you may have for it. The idea of wondering out of Doomlore and camping a bunch of insects when I could be doing full vanquishing doesn't appeal to me. Yes, I know it would be optional, but I'm damn lazy. I don't want the option to be even more lazy than I already am. I play Pokemon while farming! Laziness is a bad thing, it makes you not eat and drink tea instead.

So, we can't get drops from resurrected foes, but you want us to be able to get points from them? No. From an in-game/lore perspective, and not a abusing/game mechanic perspective, you kill the monsters once, if they are brought back to life, you don't get "fame" for killing the same monster several times (in real life instances, you actually lose fame from doing the same thing over and over again).
So player-wise, lore-wise, and game mechanic-wise, this is a bad idea. Too easy to get points, people don't get more fame from doing the same thing over and over, and the kills of resurrected foes do not even count towards counters like Vanquishing anyways, so you'd have to change that and the bounty bonuses (from killing x amount of foes) if you were to change this.

And people, READ WHAT I WROTE BEFORE YOU REPLY. I said that in hard mode this shouldn't be an option, OR if a foe has a res and resses an ally it also shouldn't be an option. But for the mantids that self-res when there are no other mantids around like in Grothmar Wardowns, then we should get points because they res for no effin reason.
