Drop rates?
saveed kalstif
I have been playing GW for just bout 3 years and i am really wanting to see somthing of a drop rate counter or somthing instead of me trying to get somthing over and over and find out that it would drop 1 out of a thousand times so if there were a way for this to occur or if someone knows of such a thing plz tell me.
And if anything the drop rate of "ironclaw" the axe.

And.. What's the problem? Who cares if the drop-rate is 1% or 99%, you'll get it @ the same time wether you know it or not.
Drop rate figures are usually there to please the twitchy people who HAVE to grind a mob for ages, but they want some assurance that it does really drop.

I agree with Miskav, showing the drop rate is just going to assure you that the item might drop. It will still drop at the same time regardless of having a visual drop rate tool. The only thing this would cause is people giving up on farming for an item when they see how low the chances of getting it are. I mean I am in the same boat as the o.p., I too have been playing GW for over 3 years and I don't have a problem with the drop rate. Normaly the rarer the item drop the better the item is so it is normaly worth the grind anyways.

I believe the overall drop rates are randomly generated each time you zone.
So for cash drops you get anything from X% to Y%(randomly selected for each foe in the zone), then for white items its -Z from that number, for blue its -2Z for purple -3Z and gold/green -4Z.
Not exact numbers but you get the drift I hope.
