Reputation Question - Hero/Dungeon Books

Alright, I hate PvE. Let's start off with that, but one thing I do like is playing the game with my friends. So I tread off to do things with them. I'm totally okay with repeatedly doing dungeons and EotN to get reputation than farming an area repeatedly, so here's my question.

If I were to get say:

Vanguard to 79,999 points. And I turned in a complete Normal Mode dungeon handbook for +40,000 points. Would it stop at 80,000, or continue and give me rank nine so I don't have to deal with one whole section of hard mode bologna? Or am I out of luck and have to QQ because grinding is ftl.

vangaurd at 79,999 + nm dungeon book will get you to 119,999 rep

It is worthwhile to wait until just before reaching level 8 to turn in a full normal master dungeon guide. In this way you can reach well into the points that would normally be only attained in hard mode. IE. wait until 79,999 points and you can reach 119,999, which gives you level 9 and leaves you only 40000 short of maximum for the title.

Yes it is true.

Just do it in HM
it doesn't take that much longer and you get more points

But if you already have a NM book filled, cash it in at 79999.
