Recent Nerf to Mantra of Inscriptions

Dont understand the recent change to this skill, and having this type of conditional effect to a stance is weird. Either all stances should have this type of conditional effect or it should be changed back.

If for some reason it was felt to be too powerful it seems to me that incorporating a way to remove the stance seems more logical rather than break the skill. Most signets activate slow and are very easy to interrupt.

Signet Mesmer.

Besides, the skill's still effective at what it does. ~3 seconds off SoM makes a huge difference in TA, and it still proves effective in Signet builds.

Yep - it's all about the PvP signet mesmer. Besides it was probably supposed to be the way it is now all along.

Mantra of Inscripitons is one of the major skills in the BMP mission: The rise of the White Mantle. Did anyone try out if it makes much difference there since the nerf?

Did you even read the update notes? >.>

It was a PvP-only nerf.

Doubt it makes such a big difference in PvE TBH, but in PvP it's another story.

Not at all. I'm in Isle of the Nameless killing the Warrior NPC's with the Signet Mesmer.

My signets recharge at 45% faster.

Funnily enough, I saw that Mantra was only a PvP nerf on the update notes...

Edit: Oh, it was the bug fix. I'm confused.

Uhmm... The bug fix was issued to both skill versions. It made signets which were interrupted to load faster. So I dont understand what are you talking about 'conditional effect'. The stance is now working as it should have worked all the time.

Yea. In both versions now only signets you activate recharge faster, which is good.

However, the recharge reduction was a PvP only nerf, so no it wouldn't affect the BMP. The bug fix would.
