So I bought Eye of the North a few days ago and waited until today to install it. But after 10 minutes siting in the disk drive with nothing happening I'm begining to wonder. When I open up My Computer from the Start Menu, the Guild Wars disk isn't even recognized. Can someone help me out?

Dud disk - return to place of purchase for a replacement.

You don't need one, however - just use the access keys along with your existing Guild Wars account. There's nothing to install anyway...

Ok thanks.
One question though: If nothing needs to be installed, then why is a disk included?

In case you need to re-install the client, I guess. The fact that you can just purchase an access key direct from ANet backs up the statement ^^

Actually, it would be useful to have if you ever need to replace your .dat - the one from the EotN disk will save a few hours of downloading. Get it replaced anyway.

Silly question but... do you have a DVD drive? The Eye of the North disc is a DVD I believe.

^That is what I was going to say either that or your :d drive isn't working properly. You can always enter your keys anyway and just download the client.
