I need a AB paragon build, That involves supporting my team, And dishing out a bit of damage, But to dish out the damage I also have to be able to build adrenaline quickly. Mostly If i had to choose I want to support my allies..But as you guys know in AB alot of the times people wonder off or dont stay in the group. get killed and split up. So there's always a very good chance you're going to at some point endup having to fight or defend yourself or cap something on your own. That is why I want offensive skills as well. If its not possible. At least show me a build for a amazing support paragon.

Question (When a skill sais Allies, does that mean any 1 in my team my entire team, not just my group, or does it only mean my group?

here's the build i tried but didn't work out so well for what I wanted to do.

I spent about 5 hours today trying to look up and find a AB support/DD build that does not require me to have 4 weapons and 4 shields to swap. That can get confusing...so a little help would be really cool. This is for a PVP only character btw.

Allies includes everyone on your side, ie all 12. However they must be within range of the skill, ie a shout range = agro circle.

Here is a build I run in AB, its mostly support but does help out well against casters.

[Spear [email protected]][Barbed [email protected]][Maiming [email protected]][Cruel [email protected]]["Go for the Eyes!"@13]["Stand Your Ground!"@13]["Fall Back!"@13][Leader's [email protected]]

Basically your granting armor to your casters and melee when not moving + speed bost and small HP gain when you need to move from one shrine to the next.

Spear swipe is great for dazing most all casters, unless they block it.

Allies also includes friendly npcs, pets and minions (I think spirits too, not sure though).

So keep in mind that if you're defending a friendly warrior/ranger shrine, and you use gfte, the warriors/rangers will score a critical hit (can be useful).

Also burning shield can be fun against assassins, even stop there chain.

Holy spear is fun when you have a shrine being ganked, with a MM on the other side.

Remedy signet is also very useful to remove blind (cripple at times) especially if you're up against a blinding surge ele, although I haven't seen many of them recently.

The few times I used my paragon in ab, I found that a paragon can be a big pain holding shrine, or in a group but solo you're easy prey.

Leader-Legion of Avalon [LoA] Alliance-Recruiting PM for info!

The trouble with a paragon in AB is that the majority of shouts affect party members-not allies.

Let me expand on that a bit-a party member is someone that appears in your party list-an ally is any green dot on the map. Do to the chaotic nature of AB, you're most likely going to get seperated from your party. And while it's easy to pick up some allies to go shrine capping with, chances are your shouts won't buff them.

So instead of buffing, you're better off being a ranged DPS guy.

When I AB on my para, I usually go with a Cruel Spear para:

[build prof=p/ spear=11+1+1 command=8+1 leadership=11+1][cruel spear][spear of lightning][spear of redemption][anthem of flame][go for the eyes][aggressive refrain][fall back][optional][/build]

[[anthem of flame] can we swaped for [[anthem of weariness]. Optional can be a self heal-[[leader's comfort] isn't bad, but it's 2s cast time puts it off for me in a combat situation. [[never surrender] isn't a bad option. Other choices can include dropping spear down a notch and putting the points into an elemental attribute and taking a conjure for more DPS.

[[fall back] allows you to move quickly from place to place-and hey-it affects allies! [[go for the eyes] also affects allies and is great benefit for any sins floating around. However it's a short duration/long recharge, so only use it when you need to cover short distances or in a retreating situation.

I personnally would avoid [[stand your ground] (no offense Crom )-it has a crappy recharge/duration ratio and since it's AB you're going to be moving around alot.

Usually I run this [build=OQGjUymIqS+iKYMYWYVYXF2YubA]

You can switch out FGJ for anything else. Lead the way I prefer over Fall back as it also gets charged to a 20 sec maximum by shrine allies etc, so you will almost always be under a 25% boost. Rest I pretty much self explanatory. Spear attacks can be switched if there is something else you prefer aswell. Runes are pretty obvious aswell.
