Ability to use Fists as Weapons.
The Only Warrior
i think i posted this like a year ago but it seems gone, so here goes again. Bare Knuckle Brawling. and not that killroy BS. i wanna be able to use my fists as weapons, like Ascalon/Canthan/Istani commoners do. would only do like 1-3 per hit, and would be effective for thrashing those RoF spammers!

pointless - no point in adding it, why do 1-3 dmg when you can just have a weapon and do much more.

Accursed
/notsigned - It semms rather idiotic to add this to a game when it doens't really need it.

My susggestion for a barefist skill would be as follows:
I imagine using the four fingered palm technique quite often.
If Anet is intrested they could call this skill 'palmsplotion'
Effect - temp dazed status and continual use of this skill causes blindness.

pointless suggestion tbh

We do... somehow... while using knuckles.
This can still be done, as 'invisible' daggers that use primary attibutes.
At least linked to Strenght, Critical strikes and Expertise.

Maybe we'll be able to do it as Norn in GW2.

If you plan on switching to bare fists every time your target gets a RoF/RoD thrown on them, you probably aren't that great at melee. If you really want a solution to this non-problem, use a weapon from an attribute you're not specced in to do low damage. In the end, you're going to end up doing more damage attacking through RoF/RoD though.

Why? Equipping starter weapons or weapons without attribute points achieves the same effect, unless you want to save a weapon slot. Bare knuckle fighting also doesn't make a whole lot of sense without a new profession like a martial artist with the associated attribute.

Bare knuckle fighting? Sounds more like the creation of a whole new class, or perhaps a whole new set of model animations to accomodate the idea.
In other words, not a simple thing to do, therefore you absolutely won't see it in GW1, so signed or not signed is moot.

I like the idea. I think it would be fun to be able to fight empty handed

If your reason is against RoF spammers, then equip a starter sword and you'll be hitting for 1-3 damage no problem.

I believe the whole brass knuckle-thing was invented to seem like fist-fighting, only in GW you can only fight if you actually have some sort of weapon equipped, hence brass knuckles.
So I don't think the engine has that ability. You can always just equip Brass Knuckles, and use TexMod to give them transparent skin, so you don't see them ingame.
