can you get heroes in EotN without NF?

and a few other questions i have for those who have EotN.

how do you get there. I have a level 20 factions char and a level 20 proph. character. i plan on buying it if it sounds good. If i dont have nightfall, what am i missing out on?

can i still get EotN heroes without having nightfall? or you need nightfall for heroes in general, even if i buy eotn?

Yes, you can go to Eye of the North without Nightfall and you can use the hero's of EotN. Every campaign has its own way to get to EotN.

You're not missing out all to much in EoTN itself if you lack NF.

You get there by a quest from either Tyria(lions arch) Or Cantha(Kaineng center)

And yes, you can still get the EoTN heroes.

As shown in above post you get 2 on arrival Boreal Station Vekk ....Ogden then Gwen at eye of north .then. from each Of the 3 areas

Norn........Jora (bear quest)...........Livia (necro).....Hayda (para)..Gadds encamptment quests

Vanguard..Area quests.........Pyre Fierceshot (ranger).....Anton (sin)
