HM Raptor Farm

Well i just got my ele all the right skills and equipment to HM the raptors outside of Rata Sum, but every time i die when Rekoff joins the fight. This is because she will just run in and attack with her bleeding and other skills then run back so sliver armour has no effect on her. This continues until magnetic aura runs out and then she just comes in and kills me instantly. Is there a way to keep her attacking so that sliver armour can take her down before magnetic aura runs out?

Do you agro all the cave?
i mean on the odd occasion that my Sliver doesnt target her,
I can keep myself alive with Ether Feast and eventually kill her
All i can say is just keep trying, remember to get as close to Broodmother as you can. Heck if you still can't do it after that, try some runs in NM until you get the hang of it.

I'd be happy to take you on a farm with me and show you sometime if you still struggle .

Agro the cave and take a breather before you engage Rekoff. Look over and see where she is, if need be move across to the side where shes currently located.
That way you have a much better chance of getting her targetted, also if you can then start attacking her, any monster being attacked will come back for more sliver goodness

I posted the renewal sliver build on the wintersday in july thread, i find that better than the normal HM raptor farm for some reason, plus the extra damage from Ebon BS of Honor kills Rekoff a lot more often than I ever did with magnetic aura and ward against foes. You could also try the blinding flash variant, that sounds like a good way to keep Rekoff at bay.

Thanks for the tips. I just completed a run. All i needed to do was wand her to keep her attacking.

Isn't it about time we had a whole forum dedicated to raptor faming?

i have trouble killing the big sin boss as well , will try out some of the tips here . but yes perhaps a thread dedicated to raptor farming would be nice.

Not trying to derail the thread, but I have a quick question. My friend and I were just playing around with farming raptors on hard mode. He is a assassin and is using a build to basically tank everyone. I'm using SS, but the raptors just keep coming after me when I use the hex. I never really played hard mode so I'm not used to its rules. Any tips as to how I can help stop this?

SS (Spiteful Spirit right?) causes AoE scatter IIRC. In HM monsters scatter very quickly.
