whats the point of having a charr carving in pre-searing?

prizes during special events; salvage for wood needs

while we are on it, whats the point of subperve charr carvings? why do they fecth 200-300g each?

It's a collectors hat that some people like.

To sell to the merchant for gold.

a stack might go well in a high end pre trade maybe?

other than that just buy/collect em and transfer to post for event traders

To collect as many as possible and go to post since you can trade them in for booze/sweets during certain festivals (halloween and wintersday I think?)

A stack will only go for about 5k Pre on average, as the max I would say when you're not nearing an event.
So, not really the best for high-end stuff. Black dyes are more common.
