How's GW changed since last year? Im just startin up again and wonderin what the new fad of items is lol

Just about everyone, and their mothers, on all their characters, have Voltaic Spear / Amethyst Aegis. That is, summed up, the 'fad'. Although now that the new HoM changes were announced, everyone's predictably hording up on Tormented weapons.

It went from a corpg that tried to go Skill>time into a normal RPG basically where time>skill.

The item fad?

Crysts are still big, Armbraces/Torm weapons are at +25e, Voltaic Spears are hot, Draconic Aegis's (r9/10) are hot, Emerald, Obsidian, and Eternal Blades are the new 300e weapons and....

1. New end-game weapons after beating Hell's Precipice (can redo if done before change)

2. New Titles

3. New ways to get to FOW and UW.

It's hard to remember everything, altlhough Zaishen keys are becoming the new trade standard for high-end items. Check the update on guildwars.com or the wiki, official one is complete now and very useful.
