Ye, post a screenie. Never heard of a purple item with a max inherent mod.

are you sure it's not +15% while below 50% hp?

Over all those years I've seen plenty of cases just like this, with people believing they had a perfect inherent Purple 15^50 and I always had to tell them to look closely, and so they found out it was a 15below50.

The mod values for different rarity colors are hard coded in the game, there's no soft edge in random generation like with certain low req items.

So post a screenshot, it will be priceless.
