SS/LB Sulfurous Wastes farm general questions

So I just started to grind up my SS and LB titles and I've been doing the standard Sulfurous Wastes SS/LB farm in groups of 8 people.

I've been getting a lot of golds and selling them unid but being new to farming, I don't know how how effective this farming run is as a moneymaker.

I generally don't like solo farming (don't like having to get all the skills) and I only ever farm in UW/FOW with guildies (too many uncertainties in a pug team) which isn't too often. So, now my question:

Is the SS/LB farm a good moneymaker (from drops, possibility of rares, etc.) excluding solo farms and UW/FOW? Are there any other places to farm where getting a team is easy, and the farming run is also simple, but yields good results? Also, is selling my drops unid the best way to go to maximise my profits? I don't like the idea of identifying a gold and finding non-max mods, which seems to happen often. Or am I completely missing the point of farming?

PS. I don't have EOTN, so the farm and coveted drops that everyone seems to love the most (raptors) is unavailable to me

Well when i did the farm during the double weekend i got 50k per day. got some nice dyes, golds, and chest drops. so imo its a good moneymaker. about the golds-if the skin is nice identify it, put on some good mods or sell it clean (remove all mods with perfect salvage kit(since you dont have gwen get a friend to craft it for you)), if the skins are not nice sell them as unid.

Hope this helped.

I always identify my items, you never know if you're gonna get a perfect mod, which is worth money. But ss/lb is really meant to get you money. It does yield a good bit of golds. Try and do a party of 5. I do that and get about 3-5 golds a run. And also be sure to open the chests. I tend to see more elite tomes drop from them that anywhere else.

that run is how i made my first 100k. it's a very good money maker and it's probably the easiest farm in the game. if i were you, i would sell all the gold drops as unid. that area is so overfarmed that there aren't really anymore rare drops. after about 3-4 runs you should have 7 golds and you just made 5k extra in about 45 minutes plus all the cash and merch fodder. if you want money from that run just remember to pick up all of your drops. it won't really slow your team down since you can do that run with just 5 people.

Just remember that the drops you save by being 5 people, you lose since the run takes that much longer...

...a run is faster with 8 people, and thus net you about the same ammount of gold/drops in the same time, but it grants more SS/LB points, because these are not shared among the party...

SS/LB points are not dependant on number of party members at all. whether you go with solo, somehow, or with 8 people you will get the same amount of SS/LB points.

He means the drops, not the points.

I found it to be worthwhile. It is boring beyond belief though.

Thanks for all the replies.

But how does this farm fare against solo farms, i.e. raptor farms, vermin hunts, etc?
