[build prof=D/W mysticism=12 scythemastery=12 name="Lyssa Build"][Avatar of Lyssa][Eternal Aura][Heart of Fury][Aura of Holy Might][Mystic Sweep][Eremite's Attack]["Finish Him!"][Wild Blow][/build]
That should work well. You could try to fit [Lightbringer's Gaze] into it if you want (Drop ["Finish Him!"] if you must have LB Gaze).

In my opinion, a good team build can solve all your problems.
[build prof=D/W mysticism=10+1+1 scythemastery=12+1 earthprayers=8+1 name="EDA Build"][Staggering Force][Ebon Dust Aura][Heart of Fury]["I Am The Strongest!"][Mystic Sweep][Victorious Sweep][Wild Blow]["Finish Him!"][/build]
(You can always add in [[Lightbringer's Gaze]] instead of [["I Am The Strongest!"] if you wish. Use Wild Blow to clear the Arms of Insanity's Lightning Reflexes, and use Ebon Dust Aura to Blind Physicals which should take a fair bit of pressure off your party. You need to either use an Ebon Scythe or use Staggering Force to convert your damage type.)
As for Heroes, off the top of my head, and drawing off my love of all things "condition spreading":
[build prof=N/Me deathmagic=12+1+3 curses=8+1 soulreaping=10+1 name="Necro Hero"][Jagged Bones][Animate Bone Minions][Death Nova][Rotting Flesh][Enfeebling Blood][Putrid Bile][Signet of Lost Souls][Epidemic][/build]
[build prof=Me/Rt illusion=12+1+1 inspiration=11+1 fastcasting=6+1 name="Mesmer Hero"][Fevered Dreams][Arcane Conundrum][Wandering Eye][Clumsiness][Drain Enchantment][Power Return][Power Drain][Death Pact Signet][/build]
(Might need to micro Fevered Dreams a bit, but it's a fun skill.)
[build prof=Rt channeling=10+1+1 restorationmagic=12+1 spawningpower=3+1 name="Rit Hero"][Offering of Spirit][Ancestors' Rage][Splinter Weapon][Essence Strike][Protective was Kaolai][Spirit Light][Life][Death Pact Signet][/build]
(If you have no Rit Hero, try a Necro hero and go N/Rt, give them a similar build to this with 12 Channeling, 10 Restoration and 8+1+1 Soul Reaping)
And take Mhenlo, Khim, and Herta. Then either Sogolon, Devona, Odurra or Gehraz. Leave Cynn alone...Torment Mobs, especially Spears of Torment, have high armour versus Fire Magic iirc.
Reason being: Hench Monks are usually perfectly fine, and by taking hench monks you can maximise the usefulness of your heroes. Herta has Stoning which will knock foes down when weakened by the necro. I usually take Odurra, because she has Hex Removal, "Any-Skill" interrupts and Empathy, but Gehraz can give you some bonus mileage out of Splinter Weapon, and apply additional conditions (Bleeding and Cripple).

This build is just fine too...I personally just enjoy blind!

Off-topic, but wouldn't Weapon of Warding be a better choice than Spirit Light? The energy management should allow it to be able to handle it, and the damage mitigation from an unremovable blocking skill is quite handy to assist henchmonks more than red bars go up.
Also about the EDA; what's the point in Staggering Aura?

Also about the EDA; what's the point in Staggering Aura? Yea, WoW is amazing. I just don't trust my heroes with 2 Weapon Spells (Except bars with Remedy and Vengeful)...unless something has changed with their AI I missed?
About EDA: That's a personal preference. I'd rather use Staggering Force + a Zealous Scythe and get the best of both worlds than use an Ebon Scythe. Staggering Force also has the added bonuses of being a Cover Enchantment for EDA, and another enchantment to power Mystic Sweep.
I of course keep an Ebon Scythe as a weapon swap in case Staggering Force is stripped.

Fair enough point, but I myself would generally go with an Attacker's Insight at spec 4, with some more powerful scythe attack skills exchanged. |
