Didn't they fix the data servers or whatever it was a few weeks ago
to save this sort of problem if it is related to that of cause or was that US servers?

Usually a router/gate reset fixes it, if not, or not using a router/gateway, a good scan on all areas (virus, trogen, spyware, etc) plus a defrag usually sorts it.
