Well I wasn't into the game until the new dye system was released, but I can see your point. I've seen some people with armor that is still dyed from the old system and I must say that it does look better. And what's with the female mesmer Asuran armor? You dye it red and it turns orange. That's not right.
Yes, I agree that they should bring the old dye system back, but definately keep the dye preview window as that is a big help and is a money-saver in the end. If they don't want to add it for Guild Wars then perhaps for Gulid Wars 2. A new game doesn't have to mean a completely new dye system.

Wow I wouldn't think it would be impossible to revert back but I know nothing about that sort of thing. But I do agree that there should be another dye update that's similar to the old ones if they can't revert.
Now, as for the people who like the current dye system, that leads to another idea - have two different dye sets, one like the old one and one of the current ones. That way the people who liked the old dyes can use them, and the people who prefer the new dyes can use them. That way everyone's happy. This would probably be better for Guild Wars 2 though. Or use the old system for Guild Wars 2 with the dye preview window.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I am in favor of all dyes having the same effect on all armor. That way you can check one dye guide and know what it would look like on your armor even if it's a different profession or gender. And it would be easier to mix and match armors, which many people like to do.
