Naming Pets.

Ok. I've got a W/R and he's got a pet Melandru's, which was named very early on using the special /petname command. However I've just taken the time to 2ndary three heroes with Ranger and used them as well as my primary ranger hero to get other pets of varying types. If I remeber right, one's a Snow Wolf. one's a Lynx. One's a Black Bear and my Primary Ranger has an Aggressive Lioness. Is there a way though to name these other pets? Doesn't seem quite right that all the other pets can only be referred to as the breed they are.

Hero pets cannot be named.

ya it's stupid that you cant name your hero's pet yet. How hard is it to come up with a /nameheropet command..

Too damn right. If it's a case of not the server not knowing which pet to rename then then all it would be a matter of is including party member number, something that all heroes and pets have in the party window when in an explorable area. Sure it would mean the pets could only be named from outside a town but it'd be better than them not being able to be named at all. And if that's too complicated then you can always put the hero name in as part of the special command before choosing the petname.

um u have to make one for each hero so hard not so much time consuming yes having to rember a pet command for each of your heros annoying
