Is it possible that this person dyed their armor pink before the dye update?
Before the dye preview window was introduced, you could make some dye combos that aren't possible anymore. You may hear people QQing over the "old black", and this is what they are talking about.
As far as suggestions...try multiples of the same color. Say, 3 red and a white, or 3 red and purple. Keep changing the dyes until you find something close to what you want, but keep in mind it may not be possible to ever get it exactly like the one you saw.

Elite Druid's isn't on the list for the armour dye charts, so my gess would be come combination of red and white. possibly play around with silvers if white is too expensive. Just use the dye preview and use common sense. Any combination of white, sliver, red and purple should eventually give results.

haven't gotten around to elite druids yet. my ranger isn't that far yet. sorry

I was going to say that each armor within a certain class accepts the dyes differently, so, seeing a picture of your particular dye combo would help. Also, I can't confirm this, but, it seems there is less freedom to mix combination's of dyes to get a unique look. It would be fun to be able to mix wierd combo's to get things like glowing armors, etc.

That's ok Enko, you've done great on all the other dye charts. Besides, i think i misread the original post and they weren't after elite druids afterall...

It isn't always as simple as 'common' color combos. For instance, red+white in crayons would produce a pink color. Dye in the game does not always work that way though. Different armor has a different appearance with the same dye as well. Sometimes it is just a matter of luck. For instance, before the dye preview was introduced, I was trying to dye my Warrior's Elite Gladiator armor brown. I figured a mix of colors from opposite sides of the color wheel would work. This was before you had dye preview, so you had to mix the dye and get a combo vial. When I applied it, I ended up with PINK, not brown. The 2 colors I used were blue+orange. Now, would blue+orange make sense to you to come out as a HOT PINK? Surprised me, but I loved it.
Try odd combos, you may get lucky.

as far as the "glowing" effect - silver usually gives a shiny effect to your dyed armor.... I always suggest that everyone buy one of every dye color and experiment with different combos - other than black and white this is a very cheap method and the most effective. XD
