hi,
i'm highly annoyed with the EoTN bounty's you get from the shrine of the simple fact that some people get a rank 4 bounty within 100 kills and others get rank 2 when they reached 400 kills
i'm just proposing to put actually a number of kills on each bounty rank
as an example
you get the asuran bodyguard rank 2 at 100 kills, rank 3 at 150, etc...
while VQ'ing i got my rank 2 bodyguard at 375 kills and i hated these random bonusses especially with getting 3 times boss bounty in a row (just gimme the damn bodyguard rankup?)
so in short: put a kill limit to make the player earn the next rank in the bounty so the whole team is on the same rank all the time and make this less annoying

Yeah, hate it when you get r2 at 300+ kills, always happens to me <.<

NF is more irritating, after you killed all the margonites, (for instant) only can you get to a spirits that gives you the bounty.....

Yeah sure it is frustrating but it just makes it more fun. Like when you get your rampage on your first 25 kills and you keep pushing to maintain it.

Yes, the rank ups should work for all campaigns and be automatic at 25%, 50% and 75% of the kills.
And Factions and Nightfall bounties to work like EotN ones!
Specially Factions! It's silly how you get more points in less time by killing 24 enemies and 4 bosses 2 times in 20 minutes than killing the whole area 1 time in 1 hour.

no problem for me i seem to get the things i want and it put challenge to the game as opposed to it being just given to you also im r10 on all eotn titles so i dont get any ranks ohh well

actually i am going for legendary master of the north and with these late bounty rankups i'm not scoring alot of reputation
especially in vanguard territory is this very annoying

I agree that the random titles shouldn't be as "random". For instance, if you've killed all the bosses or aren't close enough to one, don't give us the stupid boss bounty. Not around a mob? Don't give us the time attack. Rampage isn't as big of a deal.
And I hate the Strength of the Norn/Great Dwarf Blessing/Energy Channel bonus. We don't need that, we're out there to get points. That blessing should only be after you've reached rank 10 for that particular rep.
So for the bonuses, give us points or hunt rank up and only give us the boss or time bounty if the conditions are met. And none of the useless blessings unless you're rank 10. However, if this system was implemented, I see no reason to add a count to when you get a hunt rank up. I'd prefer this method instead of getting useless ones and missing out on so many points because there is no boss or mob around.

some one already brought this up... but i think the bounty system for eotn would work a lot better if it was dynamic and the game would be more likely to give you a boss bounty when you where around one then when you were not.

They have ALREADY developed the most efficient runs. Like the Norn Olasftead run.
Precisely because the ranks ups work like that and it gets exasperating seen how you stick at rank 2 after 400 monsters when your party members got to rank 4 with 200.
With a rankup that just work almost the same regardless of where you are, people won't bother much about runs.

Hmmm, to make it totally fair, they should be more like the nf bounties where 1 kill = 1 point. And there's no books to turn in for extra points. And there's no bonus bounties. Yeah, that would make everyone happy.

I like the total randomness of it. I know it sucks to see your guildies get the lvl4 bounty (I'm the guy always stuck at lvl1 or 2), but it's still pretty easy to get rep. points.

It's fine the way it is now, no need for changing anything. Unpredictability adds much more fun.
It would suck to simply have 1 The Way to clear an area and always get the same fixed bounties and exact same amount of rep at the end of run.
So don't QQ if you don't always get the bonuses in a perfect order, always rank4 and Hunt Rampage whenever you want them.

frustrating when you kill the last boss THEN get the boss bounty....
or better yet, you make it to the last shrine, and you have killed just about every living thing (even them dang tamables) and then get the next rank up ......personally I think the boss bounty should be gone for good, seeing as in some areas of eye there are only 2 or 3 bosses total....whats the point??????????????? and the 10 kills....when you have killed the last thing???
oh yeah.

I guess the reason they made them random as such was to make title grinidng less boring. Either way EtoN fails at so many levels, the grind reward randomness is just a small part of its failure.

That randomness don't make it less boring. It makes it more annoying.
To be less boring they should be account wide or work by 'pickups'. Quest items that monsters drop and you chose to pick or not to pick and leave there for later use. Once you pickup them, they instantly are activated and disappear.
